    Located in south central Kansas, Wichita is the state's largest city. It lies along the banks of the Arkansas River. The community's attractive neighborhoods, attractions, historic Old Town District, and Western heritage make it a vital visitor destination. Nearby Kechi and Wichita's Old Town District are considered paradise for antique hunters. Annual events include: Wichita River Festival, Fourth of July, Old Sedgwick County Fair, and Old Fashioned Christmas.
