Stockton, CA
Stockton has more than 1,000 miles of recreational waterways plus the deep
water Port of Stockton. Its close proximity to the California Delta, makes it
a popular recreation area. Native American Yokuts, Miwoks, and the Wintons
Indians were the areas first recorded natives. Today, agriculture and food
processing remain essential to the local economy. With more than 60 local
produce stands, visitors find the area a plentiful source of fresh products.
Stockton events include: Asparagus Festival, Tower Park Delta Fest,
International Food Faire, Stockton California Indian Days, Pumpkin Festival,
and Delta Reflections Lighted Boat Parade.
