prime visitor destinations. The University of California, Santa Barbara, is
located 12 miles west in Goleta. Santa Barbara area is home to many
celebrities and a wide variety of attractions. Annual events include: Hang
Gliding and Paragliding Festival, Whale Festival & Week of the Whale, Summer
Solstice Celebration, and Old Spanish Days Fiesta.
