The largest U.S. city on
the Mexican border, El Paso is located in the mountain pass
from which the name is derived. El Paso is Texas's 4th largest city and is
over 400 years old. The Franklin Mountains are the southernmost tip of the
Rocky Mountains. The city is filled with historic missions, border heritage
and modern traditions. El Paso events include: Southwestern Livestock Show &
Rodeo, International Balloon Festival, Feast of St. Anthony, Festival de la
Zarazuela El Paso/Ciudad Juarez, Sun Carnival Parade.
