Cincinnati, situated on the Ohio River gained cityhood in 1819. City features
include rolling hills, a diverse skyline, and Cinergy Field, where the
Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals play. The Union Terminal is one of
the greatest examples of Art Deco architecture in the world. The Cincinnati
economy is fueled by the U.S. rubber industry. In addition to a variety of
festivals and events, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Cincinnati Pops
Orchestra present concerts September through May at historic Music Hall and
June and July outdoors at Riverbend Music Center.
