daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Named after Major General Henry
Knox, the memorable features are the large Rodman cannon, granite
construction, enlisted and officer quarters, exhibits, and displays. Numerous
special events occur during the year including Civil War re-enactments, Fort
Knox Bay Festival, Penobscot River Festival, and Spirits of Fort Knox. |
